Senior PHP Developer – PHP/MySQL – Reading - £35k

A Senior PHP Developer with strong PHP5 and MySQL experience is required by our client based near Reading , Berkshire . A salary of up to £35k basic is available dependent upon experience.

Working in PHP5 you will develop web applications for the Digital Marketing sector and maintain existing web applications for clients. You will work alongside Project Managers and the Digital Marketing team to assist in the delivery of all projects.

The main responsibility for this position will be the creation and management of online resource applications (such as event registration sites, online surveys, personalised micro-sites, banner design all to W3C standards), but you will take responsibility for digital marketing campaigns when the Digital Marketing Team Manager is unavailable.

The PHP Developer must have strong previous experience developing web applications with experience of security protocols and accessibility.

- Strong PHP and MySQL development experience

- Excellent HTML/XHTML, CSS and JavaScript (working to W3C and WAI standards)

- Web Design skills and knowledge of Subversion is desirable.

- Good knowledge of Digital Marketing

You will ideally have excellent client facing experience and the ability translate requirements into professional applications and meet deadlines.
