PHP Web Developer - Coventry - £35,000
Our client is looking for a senior PHP developer to join their talented team based in the West Midlands.
Responsibilities:
The role of PHP Software Development Engineer will include:
- Interpreting written business requirements and technical specification documents.
- Building and maintenance of core PHP based applications.
- Designing and developing relational database systems and their web interfaces.
- Responsible for integrating MySQL database with the client websites.
- Responsible for designing company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
- Developing web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
- Assisting the Technical Director in the planning of overall company strategy regarding web development and search engine optimisation.
- Monitoring web server and site technical performance

A minimum of 5 years solid PHP experience
Demonstrable experience of class inheritance and MVC frameworks such as CakePHP or Zend.
Experience of MySQL database administration
Experience with version control systems such as SVN

A salary in the region of £35,000 is offered for the role of PHP Developer.
