PHP Developer - Greater Manchester - Up to £30,000 plus benefits
Our client, a global market-leader in their field, is looking for a experienced PHP developer to join their expanding IT department.

Responsibilities:
The role of PHP Developer will include:
Developing software applications for the company's internal needs
Developing program algorithms according to initial requirements and data
Developing applications and databases, and fixing bugs.
Determining software and hardware requirements
Developing new web based solutions using Open Source technologies.

Skills required:
Essential:
Knowledge of the following: PHP, Java, MySQL, Javascript/HTML and CSS.
Passionate about technology with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to understand customer requirements
Good spoken and written English
Good organisational and time management skills
--------------------------------------------
Desirable:
Knowledge of Google Web Toolkit, ASP.Net or C#, UML modelling and Python, Perl or other programming languages.
Knowledge of software design practices, including of Agile development and waterfall development methodologies.

A salary of up to £30,000 is offered for the position of PHP Developer based in Greater Manchester.
